Challenge from the Client
IPS utilized knowledge in highly potent antibody drug conjugates (ADCs) and an understanding of the client's business drivers to develop a greenfield site for a new commercial manufacturing facility for ADCs drug substance and drug product.
Our Approach & Solution
IPS applied first-class design tools and industry specific experiences to develop a compliant manufacturing concept. Being the first ADC commercial facility for this client, the facility process performance and appearance on the campus were important program elements. IPS complemented the existing architectural language, which consisted of early 1900s brick manufacturing plants, and balance that with modern looks and performance.
The Results
The IPS design concept integrates into the campus, achieves the program requirements and allows for a phased funding and construction approach with shell space for future manufacturing expansion opportunities.
