IPS provided engineering design services to support the fit-out of an existing shell space owned by PKUCare, for the development of animal health products for the Chinese market. The spaces defined for this laboratory area include an analytical  lab, bacteriology lab, virology lab, formulation lab, media kitchen, clean cell lab, office area, lockers, and warehousing. 

The proposed lab space is located on the fourth floor of a 7-story building that was under construction. Support services provided by IPS include laboratory planning, programming and system definitions to create a front end concept design package that can be used to secure the detailed design from a Local Design Institute (LDI). The design institute put their “chop” on the detailed design, ensuring compliance with local codes and would then be used to procure the construction.
