Innovation. It’s all around us. Everything we own is the result of innovation. Without it, where would we be? Imagine life without a smartphone, automobiles, airplanes or the internet. Our lives and the world around us would be a much different place than we know today.
The pharmaceutical/biotech industry also has innovation. Perhaps not on the same level as the Wright brothers or Steve Jobs, but there is innovation. Facilities are being built faster and out of better materials. Equipment operates faster with less human interaction. Control systems and process monitoring allow much tighter control of the process. This innovation is not readily viewable to the public, but it does exist.
