Flexible Facilities and Technologies: Innovative Options for the Future Live Panel Discussion and Q&A Session 1
Join Leonard Pauzer, Director Process Technology at IPS, as he joins a live panel discussion and Q&A on Flexible Facilities and Technologies: Innovative Options for the Future as part of the PDA Annual Meeting.
The pandemic has shown that a more flexible, modern, and scientifically sound approach to manufacturing is required to allow for essential product manufacture, distribution, and availability. Due to the challenges with the time and cost required to build new manufacturing infrastructures, it is necessary to implement agile manufacturing designs and continue to find innovative ways to manufacture products. It is also important to harness new technologies that enable manufacturers to advance the production of high-quality drugs that are safe, effective and delivered to a global patient population expeditiously. This session will focus on the benefits of a new facility and manufacturing infrastructure options to increase production capabilities and flexibility. Discussions will also focus on new innovative technology such as blow fill seal aseptic technology. Case studies will be presented to further understand the advancements of Blow Fill Seal Aseptic Technology and how this can improve the sterility of the product.
